Recording a video submission in Panopto

Find out how to record and submit a Panopto video to a Blackboard Assignment dropbox using Panopto Student Submission.

Instructions

Opening Panopto student submission tool

1. Click on the name of the assignment drop box (with the list icon beside it).

2. Click on View Instructions /Start attempt button.

   Open

   

3. Click in the submission box to reveal the tool bar. Click on the + icon and select Content Market from the drop down menu

4. You can then select Panopto Student Submission

5. This will give you three options to add your video , select Record to use Panopto Capture to record a piece to camera

Recording a video in Panopto

1. Select the Record tab and name your recording. Select Launch Capture

2. This opens up the video capture in a new tab, click on the red button to start recording (see Tips for recording video submissions).

3. When you stop recording, you’ll be taken to the review interface. Press play button to review your clip. You can redo or edit your video.

4. When you are happy with your video, close the tab (after Panopto tells you to do so). The video will then appear in Panopto. Click Insert.

5. Your video appears then in the submission box and you should click on Submit, to submit your video assignment.

2. You will be asked again to Submit Assignment, select Submit.

    

    

You will then get a chance to download your digital receipt.
