The MMI interview process this year will be delivered entirely online through Microsoft Teams which can be downloaded at https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/microsoft-teams/download-app
Whilst you may have experience using Microsoft Teams elsewhere, there are a few things worth knowing about how the process will work for the MMIs.
We will be making use of the latest breakout rooms functionality and to ensure this works optimally you should make sure that you download the Teams Application rather than connecting via the web browser.
If you use work for personal or work reasons, and already have a Microsoft account, you should make sure that you are logged out of the Teams app and connect as a non authenticated user.
You should also use a Laptop or Desktop computer with microphone and web cam.
The stability of your internet connection will be an important factor in the success of your session and we recommend doing a speed test in advance to test your connection. We recommend a minimum of 5Mbps upload and download speeds.
If you share your connection with other people in the same household you may wish to ensure that any bandwidth intensive activities are reduced whilst the session is ongoing.
Whilst, it is not always possible, using a hard wired connection rather than WiFI will provide a more resilient experience.
If your connection fails during the session, do not worry. We will ensure that you are not disadvantaged.
