Copying Class Collaborate recording
You can add Class collaborate live session recordings from a previous module’s into your Ultra module
by
either linking directly to the Collaborate session recording (requires the video to be public)
or downloading and uploading the recording into the Ultra module's Panopto course folder.
Find your Collaborate Live Session recording:
Click on Live Sessions in the left hand navigation of your Blackboard Original module
This will open up Class Collaborate, click on the bars on the top left hand side to open the Collaborate menu.
Select Recordings, from the Class Collaborate menu:
By default, Collaborate only shows recordings from the last month. To view older recordings, select Recordings from Range and change the ‘from’ date.
You’ll be able to see a list of your recordings from that period.
To use one of these recordings in a current Ultra module, click on the circle with the three dots. This will display the recording’s options.
Now you can either link directly to the Collaborate session recording from your Ultra module
Or download and upload the recording into the Ultra module's Panopto course folder.
Linking to Class Collaborate Live sessions
In order to be able to see your recording in another course, you need to change the Recordings settings.
Select Recording setting from the file’s drop-down menu:
This opens up Recording settings
Name the recording and select Public from the Access menu, then click Save. There will be a globe symbol beside the file to indicate public access.
Open the drop-down menu and click on Copy link
Go to the Course content area in your new Ultra module, and click on the plus and select Create
And then select Link in the Create Item menu
Add in a Display name and copy the link into the Link URL field, and then click Save
Your link will now appear in your Course Content area, click on the link
The Class Collaborate player should start, if it does not - go back to the Collaborate recording in the original module and check the access settings and make sure it is set to public.
Once you are happy that the file is working, set the file’s visibility to Visible for students
Uploading your file to your Module’s Course Panopto folder
First you need to download your file from Collaborate
Select Download in the Recording's menu, this will download the recording.
Then you will need to upload it into the Ultra modules Panopto Course folder:
Select View course and institution tools in the Details and Actions menu in the Course Content area of your module
Select Panopto video from the Books and Course Tools
This opens up the Panopto Course folder for your Module, select Create
Then Upload media, and navigate to where you downloaded your videos. It will take a few minutes to process the videos.
Once processed, you will have access to the videos from within the Course content area of your module. You can then embed the Panopto video using Content Market as normal:
You can upload it directly into the course content area, by clicking on the plus icon and selecting Content Market

Alternatively, you can add a new document and embed the Panopto video there.
Select the plus icon and then select Create.
Chose Document from the Create Item menu
This open the Document editor, select the plus and Content Market from the drop-down menu to access the Panopto video embed option
Then select Panopto video embed
Select the video and then select Insert
You will see your video embedded in the document, press Save
