Blackboard Learn Ultra Analytics

The analytics tools in Ultra are useful for keeping an eye on student progress, and provide instructors with useful insights on how students are interacting with your modules in Blackboard. It can help you understand how students are engaging with your module and how they are actively using the module. It will help identify both students who may be having difficulties and those who are managing well.

Instructions

  1. To access analytics click on the link in your module menu.

  2. In Ulster there are 3 options available under Analytics:

    - Course Activity
    - Question Analysis
    - SCORM Reports

  3. The Course Activity report shows how your students are performing and how much they are interacting with the module.

  4. You can view by student, overall grade, hours spent in the course, and days since last access.

    You can also use graph or list view, send a selected student a message, or download the data.



  5. Question analysis is for assessments with questions. It provides statistics on overall performance, assessment quality, and individual questions. Based on what you discover from the question analysis, you can improve questions to truly test students' knowledge. Click on Run REport to generate a report.



  6. SCORM Reports generate data for specific SCORM Packages in the module if there are any. Click on Run Report to generate a report.
