Class conversations

If you enable Class conversations for individual content items, students can discuss the content with you and their classmates.

You can enable Class conversations for the following:

Conversations appear beside the relevant content, they do not appear in Discussions.

Instructions

Select the item's Settings icon to open the panel with the item's details and information.
Select ‘Allow class conversations’.
When people contribute to a conversation an icon appears beside the item’s title in the course content to indicate participation.
To access the conversation click on the … to the right of the item and click on ‘Conversation’
You can also access the conversations by clicking on the Open class conversation icon in the upper-right corner of an item's page. A purple circle appears to indicate new activity.
You can add a new response or reply to conversations that have been posted there.
