You can use Blackboard Assignment dropboxes for coursework submissions from your individuals or groups in your class.
Any digital format can be uploaded by your students to a Blackboard Assignments dropbox including text and audio as well as specialist software files and video submissions (using Panopto).
Blackboard assignments can also be used to mark offline submissions such as presentations.
If you require Similarity Checking, a new Ultra feature allows TurnItIn functionality to be added to the Blackboard assignment dropbox.
Use rubrics and a range of tools to provide feedback on students' submissions.
You can also set up delegated marking and two markers per student (parallel marking)
However, if you need to download annotated submissions with feedback for External examiners use a Turnitin assignment
Using the word ‘Coursework’ and including the percentage this equates to in your assignment title, will help you and your students locate the assessment and make it clear how the student’s final grade is calculated. E.g. 'Coursework 1 Essay (40%)' and 'Coursework 2 Test (60%)'.
