Introduction

This checklist will hopefully serve as a useful guide for staff setting up a Blackboard Course Area. It's a comprehensive guide on how to setup a module area to support your teaching. With useful links on How To complete the task if you are unsure.

The essential guide emphasises important steps and reminders such as requesting access to your module, utilising the library integration in Blackboard and where to go to get help for both you and your students.

Timetabling (2018/19)

From the beginning of the 2018/19 academic year, all students must have access to an electronic version of their timetable. If practical, it should be available for the whole semester in advance of the start of the semester. The calendar functionality in Blackboard can be used for providing students with a personalised calendar and further information is available at http://addl.ulster.ac.uk/docs/ElectronicAvailabilityofTimetableInformation.pdf
