Introduction

When modules are migrated within Blackboard Learn 9.1, they also take with them all their old Forums and related Threads - but not the details of who created the threads. You can reuse the Forums and Threads but you will have to clean out the old discussions (postings).

Tip
The Forum and Threads can now be re-used for the current academic year, once the previous postings have been removed.

Select the Forum

  1. Login to Blackboard.
  2. Make sure your Edit mode is ON.
  3. Select the Programme you will be working in from the Course List.
  4. Select Discussion tool link you have set up for students. In the example below, the Forum 'Semester 1 Coursework Discussions' has 18 postings. When Forum titles are bold they have content, non-bold titles are empty.
