As a student, your Profile picture appears on course content pages, course cards, rosters, discussions, conversations, and messages next to your activity. By default, the picture is blank. You need to go to Profile Settings to add the picture that appears here.
Upload your profile picture
If you are on a mobile device you will have the option to choose a picture or take one with your camera. Otherwise you will need to have a picture already saved on your device or in cloud storage before you begin.
Select your profile avatar (the person icon) beside your name in the main Blackboard Learn menu to open your profile settings.
At the top of the profile settings page, hover over the image so that the pen icon appears.
The profile settings to Change Profile Picture will be displayed. Choose Upload new profile picture.
You can now select the picture you would like to use. If you are using a mobile device, the option to take a photo with your camera will also be presented to you.
Confirm your selection to upload your profile picture.
