Tests can be used for both formative and summative assessments. Students can use them for a self check at the end of a topic to check their understanding where they receive immediate feedback or they can be set up and the mark achieved recorded in the Gradebook.

On the Course Content page, select the plus sign where you would like to add a test.
Select Create, the Create Item panel will open, then select Test in the Assessment area.
Give the Test a Title, then open the Test Settings by clicking on the cog icon over on the right.
Under ‘Content and Settings’ click on the Plus icon to begin adding questions.
Add any instructions by selecting Add Text.
Highlight important information in a panel like this one. To edit this panel's color or style, select one of the options in the menu.
