When your lecturer posts your marks and feedback for Assignmentsassignments and tests, you will be able to view these in the Gradebook. For most Tests that you take in Blackboard, tests your grade and feedback will be released automatically and it will display immediately in the Gradebook. Sometimes a test will contain questions which after submission. For assignments and essay questions in tests your submissions will need to be manually marked and if this is the case, the result and your mark and feedback will not be visible in the Gradebook until your lecturer posts it.

The quickest and easiest method to check whether your assignment has been graded and feedback provided, is to select the Gradebook via Marks in the main Blackboard menu.

You can also select the Gradebook tab from the top menu within individual modules to view your grades.

Accessing your grades

  1. In the left menu when you login, choose Marks.

Once your lecturer has posted your marks you will be able to access your marked submission with their feedback in Gradebook.

You can also check whether your assignments have been graded by selecting Marks in the main Blackboard menu.
