Granting an extension to an individual student in Enhanced Turnitin (2026)
Turnitin now has a facility for granting extensions to an individual student. Extensions may be granted on the basis of hours or days and can be applied differently to students according to circumstances and approved EC1 forms.
Instructions
Open your Turnitin Submission List
Locate the student that you would like to grant an extension to
Click on the more menu … beside that student and click on Grant Extension
Choose how many hours or days you would like to extend the due date by, then click on Confirm
This will be applied and the set extension will display beside the student details.
