Submitting an audio assignment to Blackboard
Use Panopto Student Submission to submit your audio file to a Blackboard assignment dropbox. Don’t just attach the audio to the assignment as it may not be accessible for your lecturer to mark.
In advance of the due date, record your audio assignment and if required, make edits or add captions/ transcript. Check out how to record an audio assignment in Panopto
When it is ready, submit the audio recording to the assignment Dropbox via Panopto Student Submission.
Instructions
Click the Coursework assessment link in your module to submit your audio assignment.
On the next screen, click View Instructions to open the assessment submission area/ dropbox.
In the new window, click in the submission text box.
Then click on the + icon in the toolbar, and select Content Market from the drop-down menu.
This opens up Content Market; click Panopto Student Submission to select it from the Institution Tools:
A tabbed window will open.
If you have previously uploaded the audio to Panopto, select Choose. You may need to navigate to the folder that your video is saved, e.g. My Folder.
If your recording is not yet uploaded, click the Upload tab, find your audio file and wait for it to process.
Once your audio has fully uploaded (but may be still processing) click on the Insert button to begin submitting your audio file.
Check or change the display name of the audio file and click Insert.
Your audio should appear in the submission box and you then click on Submit, to submit your audio assignment.
You will be given final message if it’s your final attempt for submission, select Submit.
You will then get a chance to download your digital receipt.
